Conclusion

   By the time you read this article we should have received word of acceptance for National Register status. The nomination journey has been as long and perilous as our motor venture, and I will breath a sigh of relief when we receive word from Washington D.C. As relieved, I am sure, as were the intrepid motorists that completed their joumey over the mountains on the old Ridge Route.
